If Sony announced a new FE 100-400mm G lens for your full frame mirrorless camera, will you get it?

According to the rumor coming out of SonyAlphaRumors, Sony is developing the FE 100-400mm G lens and this new lens is expected to be announced with a new camera in April 2017. The aperture, specs and pricing info are still unknown. The current Canon EF 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6L IS II USM lens ($1999) is an excellent compact and high performance L-series super-telephoto zoom and it is ideal for sports and wildlife photography. So I hope this Sony FE 100-400mm G will have the same size, weight and amazing performance as the Canon EF 100-400mm II.

Reminder: This rumor is NOT confirmed by trusted sources, so it’s best to take it with a pinch of salt.

Note: Sony USA already dropped the prices of Sony a7RII and Sony a7SII ($300 off).

$300 off on Sony a7RII body: $2,898 at Amazon, B&H, Adorama.

$300 off on Sony a7SII body: $2,698 at Amazon, B&H, Adorama.

$200 off on Sony a7II body: $1,498 at Amazon, B&H, Adorama.
